Beginners Courses

Our next beginners course will run for 6 weeks starting 19th January 2022 and aim to take a novice through to running in six weeks. We have qualified coaches and lots of friendly helpers so we can give plenty of encouragement.  Courses are fun based and you will be shown how to run safely, warm-up and cool-down.


We hope you find the course a welcoming and friendly experience.  You need only run to your own capabilities and you will feel healthier and fitter.


At the end of the course if you wish you will be able to join the main Ladybird running groups and run on a weekly basis if you wish.


Returners to running are also welcome on the courses or may be able to slot into the main group. If you are already running a bit, no matter how slow contact us.

What do you need?

  • A good pair of running shoes.

  • A good support bra.

  • Comfortable lightweight clothing, layers you can add or take off depending upon the weather.

  • Reflective top for dark nights.
